COIL / POD RESISTANCE GUIDE
- 1.0 Ohm: the tightest of the three draws, closest to a cigarette pull. A natural fit for anyone using higher-strength nic salts who prefers a restricted, controlled inhale.
- 0.7 Ohm: the best all-rounder. A slightly looser MTL draw with a strong flavour-to-vapour balance, and the resistance most Argus kits ship with as standard.
- 0.4 Ohm: a warmer, looser RDTL draw with more vapour. Pair it with 50/50 e-liquid or nic salt rather than heavy VG, since the pod's wicking is built for the Argus format specifically.
- V2 versions: the same three resistances on Voopoo's newer Mega-Core coil, built for a longer flavour curve and Liquid-Seal Shield leak protection across the pod's life.
USAGE ADVICE
Prime every new pod before your first vape. Add two or three drops of e-liquid straight onto the coil mesh through the fill port, then leave it to sit for around five minutes so the wick is fully saturated before topping up the tank properly. Skipping this step is the most common reason a brand-new pod tastes burnt immediately.
When filling, lift or twist the top bung and pour down the inside wall of the pod rather than straight into the centre, to stop air pockets forming that cause gurgling. Stop just below the fill line, and make sure the bung clicks firmly shut, since a loose seal is the usual cause of leaking from a top fill pod.
Leave the pod to settle for a minute after filling, and start on the lower end of the recommended wattage for the first few draws on a new coil.
